Beliefs and expectations surrounding academic writing in Mexican universities
Objetivo del Proyecto
To explore participants’ beliefs on academic writing in terms of emotion, previous experience, reasons for writing academically, writing stage, resources, strategies and difficulties.

What is the current stage of development as writers of the students and teachers in our faculties, as evidenced by their belief system?
How do the beliefs and expectations of our teachers and students shape their experiences with regard to academic writing and vice-versa?
How have these lived experiences impacted on our teachers and students as authors?
